Although I missed the first couple of weeks, this is week six of To-Do Tuesday, and I am proud to say that I am only one day late posting my list this week. I am also adding another item to my daily section this week, sort of baby steps, if you will.
By now you have probably guessed that I can be a haphazard housekeeper. Part of the issue is a lack of consistency and motivation, but there is also a big need for decluttering. I am working on that – very slowly – but also can only do so much because there are other people who contribute to the amount of stuff around our house that they won’t get rid of due to sentimental attachment and/or a lack of time to sort through it all. And no, I am not talking about the cat!
Anyway, posting my list here is definitely motivating me to go above and beyond what I have been and has had the side effect of leaving me with less time for blogging. Although I did find time to play around with a new layout on my blog today.
My To Do List:
DAILY -
Add school communication form notes to spreadsheet. (Missed three days due to illness.)
Do the freakin’ dishes already.
Make beds and pick up bedrooms.

Send thank you cards for Michael’s birthday presents.
Type up notes from board meeting and send out.
Start on action items from board meeting.
Do taxes.

Great list! I find that I’m definitely more accountable when I post things as well. Next week I hope to have a more “official” to do list up.

You are a brave woman, Trish, posting your to-dos. I get the psychology for sharing goals – becomes part of the incentive to come through. If I post my to-dos, then I will actually have to DO them! Acch! I’m going to go think about that! hehe.

Oh boy, do I appreciate your list.. because I have one too and a lot longer—I think spring cleaning is in the air! But it does feel good to get to it already! and then have some wine to celebrate!

Love the new theme
You are brave to post your to do list. I posted my minutes of exercise per week recently and it is very motivating. Even when sick, I’m thinking about the fact that everybody can see my exercise minutes!!
