The Hokey Pokey

I finally downloaded the pictures from last week, and I didn’t really get any good ones from Trick or Treat. But I took a bunch of shots at the Halloween party at school and thought these turned out pretty well.

For Halloween at my son’s school, the students and teachers dress up in their costumes and go on a parade through the neighborhood. After walking about six blocks, they make their way back to the school playground and dance to some fun songs before going inside to their class parties. These were taken during The Hokey Pokey. :)

thanks for stopping by my blog…..
i am so jealous, my son’s school used to do the Halloween Parade and i don’t know what happen it slowly was phased-out over the last few years. Last Friday he went to school dressed in “Halloween colors” (orange, brown, black, green) LAME, right?

your son looks so cute as a bottle of mustard, great costume!!

That’s funny, when I looked at the first picture I thought he was a construction cone then I read mustard. I thought wow, they must live with as much road construction as we do.

I’m just so glad I got the camera out during this song and not when he was back against the fence covering his ears because they were playing “The Monster Mash” and he thought it was too scary!
