Magic Marker Monday: In the Paxtang Art Museum

I was pleasantly surprised to find a certificate in Michael’s school folder the other day congratulating him for having artwork on the school website. I looked it up and found this picture he drew of a house:

You can see the other selected pictures from his classmates at the Paxtang website. Evidently they have been studying Matisse!

Lovely picture. He certainly took in the concepts of beauty and use of vivid color from his study of Matisse! What fun to be recognized in the student gallery :0)

A cyber-museum — what a great idea! Congratulations on your first exhibition, Michael :D

Such a great job on the house — too funny that we both had yellow houses this week :) I just love all the little details Michael puts into his drawings, like the brickwork on the chimney and two stories of windows — great work, Michael!
