Go Ahead, Sleep In!

Do you get enough sleep? I know I don’t, what with all the things I have to do, should do and want to do combining to make for too-busy days. Well, the makers of the Sleep Number bed want you to know that an extra hour of sleep each night can not only make you more rested, but can also help reduce mortality-causing illnesses such as obesity, Type 2 diabetes, respiratory disorders and high blood pressure.

To encourage you to get the extra sleep you need, they have created the Sleep Number Sleep-In Challenge and are even giving away a Sleep Number bed! I am actually taking the challenge as well. With our new summer schedule, I have the opportunity to get up 1/2 hour later, and just by going to bed 1/2 hour earlier, I will have my hour. Last night I got 8 hours of sleep for the first night in a long time, and I can definitely tell the difference.

The sweepstakes ends on August 1st, so click the button above to enter now if you want a chance to win!

I also LONG for a good night’s sleep!! Surprisingly my daugher has nothing to do with it!? I picked up a cold this week and it’s keeping me up all night long.

I’ll have to live vicariously through you…ENJOY! :)
