Yeah! I won a prize from the Bloggy Giveaways Carnival – thank you, TCC!! There was no way I could enter them all, but I am really excited to win one from someone I know IRL.
Okay, on to what I had to tell you.
Lis Garrett (woolgatherings, Silver-Tongued Writer) is starting a new website called Root and Sprout and is looking for articles in a variety of categories. This will be a website for both moms and dads that offers practical advice for gentle, hands-on parenting. Click here to learn more about the philosophy behind it, the different categories that will be featured, and how to submit an article (come on, don’t by shy!). The deadline for the inital round of articles is May 15th.
Daniel Scocco at Daily Blog Tips has designated May 1st as RSS Awareness Day to get the word out about the benefits of using this tool to stay connected with what’s going on online. He is encouraging everyone to spread the word on May 1st, and is also having a random drawing with some cool prizes for those who help to spread the word in the next few days.
